The final component of a Trane heating and air conditioning system is of course the thermostat that controls your home’s comfort. And, unlike the other parts of your system — the furnace or air handler in the attic, and the air conditioner or heat pump in the backyard—it’s something you come into contact with everyday. That’s why Trane’s complete line of thermostats are not only easy to use, they’re also easy on the eye. With simple, easy to use features, and an attractive, streamlined design, our thermostats put you in control of your comfort with the touch of a button.

Trane’s Easy To Use Electronic Thermostats Set The Stage For Comfort
A Programmable Thermostat Conserves Energy and Saves You Money, but More Importantly is The Comfort They Provide Your Family.
Trane programmable thermostats were designed to maximize the performance of our home comfort systems with reliable, accurate temperature control. And, because you can program them to raise or lower the temperature when you’re not home, they also save energy while still maintaining your standard of comfort. In fact, during the winter you can save about 3 percent of your heating costs for every degree you lower your thermostat. During the summer, you can cut your cooling costs up to 4 percent for every degree you raise your thermostat*. All you have to do is plan your family’s schedule for the week, follow your thermostat’s simple programming instructions, and then reap the benefits of lower energy costs and enhanced comfort.
* Potential energy savings may vary depending on your personal lifestyle, system settings, equipment maintenance, local climate, actual construction, and installation of equipment and duct systems.
Programming Your Comfort Around Your Lifestyle Is Easy To Do
With our programmable thermostats, you start by simply programming your weekday requirements—when you wake, when you leave the house, the time you return home, the time you go to sleep, and the temperature you want at each of those times. Of course your schedule will differ on weekends. Most of our electronic thermostats take this into consideration, and will let you program accordingly. However, even after you’ve set your thermostat you still have flexibility. You can temporarily change a program if your schedule suddenly changes, and you can update as needed.

Our electronic thermostats can also be operated manually, as well, without canceling the regular program. Ease of use, flexibility, energy savings, and an attractive design—Trane’s digital, programmable thermostats keep you in touch with your heating and air conditioning system and your family’s comfort.
Backed by Trane’s Industry Leading Limited Warranty
All Trane thermostats have a Five-Year* Parts Limited Warranty. However, if you have a thermostat installed with a Trane XL or XLi outdoor air conditioner or heat pump as part of a complete system, the thermostat will be covered for 10 years under the Outdoor Model Functional Parts Limited Warranty.
